Garden Design for a Changing Climate
Rooted in California. Informed by Global Artistry.

Creating resilient, climate-adapted gardens that blend artistry with                                              ecological balance, year-round beauty, and a strong sense of place

Start Planning Your Garden

Alison brings global horticultural training and a sophisticated creative vision to every project, blending naturalistic artistry with practical, climate-responsive design. While her work is rooted in California—holding certifications in native-plant and defensible-space design—her approach is defined by an international design perspective that transcends standard landscaping.

She creates climate-adapted gardens that respond intelligently to drought and extreme weather while maintaining a lush, curated aesthetic. Her process combines thoughtful plant selection, sustainable materials, and a deep understanding of ecological balance to create gardens with lasting beauty and meaning—always shaped by the unique site conditions and the people who use them.

The Hummingbird Haven: A Symphony of Movement and Colour I am incredibly proud to have co-designed this featured border for the 2025 RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. This project celebrates the magical, symbiotic relationship between hummingbirds and nectar-rich blooms. Design Highlights: The Lamiaceae Connection: A curated selection of tubular orange and red flowers, specifically chosen to attract and sustain hummingbirds. Dynamic Artistry: The garden features life-size hummingbird sculptures and handmade origami birds to mimic the energy and "symphony" of their flight. Vibrant Biodiversity: A high-impact display of iridescent foliage and pollinator-friendly plants like Salvia.
