For projects that need a complete design, from rethinking the layout and flow of the garden to planting, materials and key features. The scope is tailored to each garden and the needs of the project.
- Planting Design: For gardens where the structure is already in place but the planting needs a fresh approach. This can include a complete planting design for new or existing beds, with plant selection, combinations, quantities and placement considered as a whole.
- Complete Garden Design: For gardens that need to be reconsidered as a whole. The design brings together layout, circulation, planting, materials and key features to create a cohesive garden that works for both the site and the people who use it.

The Design Process: From Vision to Reality
My structured design process ensures that your project is handled with international professional standards—from the first sketch to the final digital delivery.
Phase 1: Discovery & Site Analysis
We begin with a conversation about the garden, how you use it and what you would like to change. I then assess the site, including its existing planting, light, soil, microclimates and other conditions that will inform the design.
Phase 2: Design Development
From the brief and site analysis, I develop the overall design, bringing together layout, planting, materials and key features. Plans and visualisations help communicate how the garden will look and feel, and the design is refined following your feedback.
Phase 3: Final Design
The completed design brings together the agreed plans, planting design, suggested materials and key design details, providing a clear reference for bringing the garden to life.
